A spectator shuffles a portion of the deck, and then select any card he wants. You place the selected card somewhere in the deck. Then you ask him to cut the deck. The spectator then shuffles the bottom portion well. You ask him to select any two cards, and together you add up the values of those two cards. For example, if the two cards are Jack and King, their values are 11 + 13 = 23. The spectator counts to the 23rd card in this example, and the selected card will be found in that exact position!
